another beautiful family day.

when I get a shot like the one above and it's in the stroller, I know I'm on to something. :) who knew! i love this one of her.... it's so relaxed.

Brian loves this one of her.... that's the look she gives when you ask her if she's okay. she milks sympathy for all it's worth. this is her fake cry/pout face. pretty cute.

just woke up from a sunny stroll nap - clutching her baby for lots of love and comfort.

she's really beginning to love more things at the park.... it's not just the baby swing anymore though that's still her fav :) look at her... she's so sweet.

ahhhh, my dude. my very own dude. isn't he handsome?!?! :)

i like the way his face is dark in this one... it makes it a little more artsy. he's so crazy.

i couldn't be any happier...

Tonight as I was driving home, I hear from the backseat a sweet, sweet, *Mama. Mama. Mama. Mama.* I turn around to my breathtaking little girl holding her babydoll with both arms wrapped tightly around and said *Yes baby.* I put my hand on her chubby little leg, slightly chilled from the A/C. I couldn't let go. That is until my arm started feeling like something it was never intended to feel, and I thought, I'll lovingly break free. I tried. It didn't work. And who could complain? As soon as my hand let go, she whimpered *Mama. Mama. Mama.* almost in tears. That's right little one, Mama's here. Complain? No, relish.

our favorite family spot.

my bro rockin' out.

Leading worship now for 15 years, my bro opens for his first worship mentor, Ron Kenolly on the night he debuts his first album. Awesome. God is really awesome.

a baby saved.

by God's grace, no doubt, and by the perserverence & prayers of Life Ministries. Baby Devon is perfect and tiny as ever. His fate was to live, though his Mommy wouldn't have first chosen it. Hard circumstances often lead to devestating choices, but God was awesome and faithful and full of love. Mommy, baby and proud siblings are home, happy & safe.

in Grandma & Pop Pop's backyard paradise...

i love the light in this next one, though Jersey was done with pictures and outside and grass at this point. she is a girl after all.

time for some cozy relaxation in red & blue back porch fun.

Sunday, September 2

home from church at noon. nice.

since Brian had surgery on Monday he was unable to lead worship this week. so we were allowed the distinct rarity of driving to church in one car. and instead of staying all day to prepare for the evening service, we drove home. at noon.

after church lounge with Mama, Dada, and Elmo.

*hmm. where's Elmo?*
